Hello! I’m Elaine, a Christian and Chinese American artist who especially loves drawing illustrations that evoke positive feelings. Since life can be difficult, I like to focus on the beautiful aspects and imagine a happier world especially through art, which is both a way of bringing relaxation to myself and a smile to others.

I am currently 22 and have been drawing seriously since the age of 13. I graduated with a BA in Art with a concentration in Painting + Drawing at the University of Washington. Proficient in Photoshop; experience in watercolor, oil painting, charcoal, and more traditional mediums. Interest in environment and creature design.

I believe it is important to be a good steward of the earth to the best of our abilities. For my shop, I reuse as much packaging as possible, and when I have to buy packaging, I heavily prioritize recyclable packaging (paper and cardboard based). I try to avoid new plastic as much as possible.

Additionally, I might write a random blog post once in a while. I’m not a professional writer by any means, it’s just for fun.
